    1. 5. Here, volume remains same.
      In 3-D mensuration, one to be converted into another, then it's volume remains same.
      So, vol. of Sphere = Vol. of Cylinder (wire has cylindrical shape)
      Then, we get, length of wire =h= 972 metre

    2. 8. Given, V1=48km/hr
      t1=50 min = 50/60 hr = 5/6 hr
      Distance= 5/6 × 48 = 40km
      V2=? & t2 = 40 min = 40/60 hr = 2/3 hr
      Then, V2= 40 ÷ 2/3 = 60km/hr
